We were staying overnight on our way from Moscow to the Black Sea coast. We wandered around a pedestrian street for 2 hours and had a good time. They close their Main Street for traffic during the weekend. There were a lot of cafes, bars, street food, street musicians and dancers.
Honestly speaking I expected more from Krasnodar. I could be that my expectations were to high from the city established by Catherine the Great. What was definitely cool, it the fact that main street is closed during the weekend. There are a lot of pubs and crowd, so you can spend really good Saturday night there. City has a lot of parks and park Pobedy is definitely worth of seeing. Area around the stadium is great with very big park around (very comfortable is you travel with children). Of course, weather is great for Russian standards Otherwise it is more less like classic Russian provincial town. Embankment is not used at all and it is even hard to access, very strange for the city lying on the big river. Overall, if you find yourself in the south of Russia, worth of seeing, if not, don't waste your time.
Cool coty in the south of Russia. Recommended to visit. The weather is good what is rare in Russia, the people are laid back and easy to talk to and the city is big enough to enjoy but not too big to get lost.
The city and region with great history. Though, not that many historical sights and business have survived the communist era and Second World War, it's still worth visiting. Vibrant atmosphere and lots of nice restaurants make this city worth visiting.
Terrible place to stay! Poor service and poor apartment- its not like in the photos. Administrator or key holder was very rude, my sister has to wait for about 50 min after long drive from Pyatigorsk to be checked in. And when my sister call to remind that they still waiting for key holder - the answer was " You are interrupting me from my work!!!!!"
Clean city, and warm with sunshine. But people there are rude, not friendly, Friday and Saturday everyone is walking drunk on krasnaya street. Girls are extremely rude and tricky. I don't recommend coming here and it's the reason why I moved out of krasnodar. Слишком много хитрый леса девочек и вообще люди. Ужасно
